SVUS of California in tie-up with BizNewsConnect

SAN JOSE, CALIFORNIA/MUMBAI, INDIA | Global business awards platform SVUS Awards, promoted by Silicon Valley Communications, has tied up with Mumbai-based startup BizNewsConnect to be its India representative to promote the message about COVID-19 Business Response awards.

Under the no-financials-involved arrangement, BizNewsConnect.Com, run by a group of professionals headed by media veteran B N Kumar, will spread the communication about the unique opportunity for Indian enterprises to showcase their excellence during the pandemic and how they responded to and managed the crisis.

San Madan co-president of SVUS said “the new normal is far from ordinary in the business world. Companies are deciding when, how and if workers should come back. From procedural temperature checks to enforced use of masks, new cleaning procedures and social distancing in the office, companies are preparing their workforces to return.”

Under the COVID-19 Response awards, she said, “We have created new categories to honour the contributions of individuals, teams and groups, and organizations that have worked hard and continue to show their resilience and creativity to weather the economic impact over the past few months and keeping us safe, healthy, and informed at all times”.

“We hope to reach out to a large number of Indian companies through our communication arrangement with BizNewsConnect,” San said.

B N Kumar, editor of BizNewsConnect, said the entire business community, including media and communication fraternity, has to face tremendous hardships, yet all of them adapted themselves to the new normal. “We fully agree with SVUS that it’s time to recognize and honor achievements as the COVID-19 pandemic continues to impact everyone everywhere.
