The NASSCOM Foundation has announced the appointment of Jyoti Sharma as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. This leadership transition, disclosed in a statement on Thursday, sees Sharma succeeding Nidhi Bhasin. With over 20 years of experience in social impact, program development, resource mobilization, and stakeholder engagement, Sharma is set to play a crucial role in expanding the foundation’s reach and strengthening its influence.

Established in 2001, the NASSCOM Foundation represents the Indian tech industry and advocates for harnessing technology for social good. A graduate of the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Sharma is dedicated to advancing the foundation’s TechForGood legacy, with a focus on promoting digital equity and fostering inclusive growth throughout India.

Sharma’s career has been marked by her deep commitment to social empowerment and sustainable development. Holding a Master’s degree in Social Work, she has worked with organizations such as the Organic Cotton Accelerator, European Commission, World Resources Institute, Magic Bus India Foundation, Action Aid, and Save the Children. Known for her ability to build high-performing teams, lead impactful programs, and mobilize resources, Sharma brings a wealth of experience to her new role, with a strong focus on driving meaningful social change.
