PRoelio 11.0, India’s biggest public relations face-off, concluded successfully at Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune delivering an intense and immersive experience that closely mirrored the realities of the public relations industry. Organised by iSMaRT, the Public Relations team of SIBM Pune, the competition once again set itself apart by moving beyond traditional case presentations to real-time, high-pressure communication simulations.

Built around the theme “AI at the Edge of the Unknown”, PRoelio 11.0 challenged participants to navigate evolving scenarios involving artificial intelligence, ethics and reputation management. Teams were tested through mock press conferences, crisis simulations and rigorous questioning demanding sharp thinking, strategic clarity and confident articulation under tight time constraints. The format emphasised accountability, credibility and adaptability which are the key competencies for modern communication professionals.

The national finale brought together top teams from leading institutes including Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS) Mumbai, Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) Mumbai, SIBM Pune and Symbiosis School of Banking and Finance Maharashtra. After closely contested rounds, Team StratXL from SIBM Pune emerged as winners, securing a cash prize of ₹75,000, while Team Promethians from TISS Mumbai finished as runners-up with ₹50,000 in cash. The Best Journalist Award, carrying a cash prize of ₹10,000, recognised exceptional media handling and questioning skills and was won by Anant Goswami.

The competition was evaluated by an eminent jury comprising Ms. Nidhi Madan Verma, a seasoned Public Relations and Corporate Communications leader with over two decades of experienceand Mr. Hemchandra Shetty, an Independent PR and Corporate Communications Consultant known for his expertise in crisis management, strategic media relations and AI- driven communication planning. Their insights and feedback added strong industry relevance to the event.
