IndiGo has appointed Rashmi Soni as its new Vice President (VP) and Head of Communications, succeeding C Leekha, who is stepping down to explore new opportunities. Before joining IndiGo, Soni was the Chief Brand and Communication Officer at PayU.
With over 20 years of experience in communications, Soni is an expert in strategic communication, public relations, brand building, marketing communication, and corporate social responsibility (CSR). She has worked with a variety of multinational corporations and global brands, making significant contributions to their communication strategies.
Soni’s extensive career includes leadership roles at prominent organizations such as Tata Teleservices, Ericsson, Adobe Systems, Aricent (formerly Flextronics Software Systems), and Hughes, among others. Her broad experience and expertise in corporate communication make her a valuable addition to IndiGo’s leadership team.
Soni’s appointment marks a significant milestone for IndiGo as it continues to strengthen its communication and public relations efforts, aligning with its growth objectives in the airline industry.
