Sony Pictures Networks India (Culver Max Entertainment) has appointed Rajaraman Sundaram as its new Head of Content Strategy.

Sony Pictures Networks India (Culver Max Entertainment) has appointed Rajaraman Sundaram as its new Head of Content Strategy.

With extensive experience in the southern markets, Rajaraman brings a wealth of knowledge to the role. He began his career at Vijay Television, where he worked in the finance department across two phases: from April 2009 to January 2015 and again from January 2011 to March 2016.

Rajaraman took on significant leadership roles at Asianet, serving as Executive Vice-President of Strategy (South) from December 2017 to September 2021, followed by Business Head. He was responsible for managing Colors Tamil between September 2021 and July 2023.

After his tenure at Disney Star India from August 2023 to November 2024, where he worked in the Country Manager India’s office, Rajaraman’s career also included a role at NDTV Imagine as Vice President of Finance (May 2007–April 2009) and as Chief Operating Officer for Hathway Cable and Datacom’s Video Business from April 2015 to December 2017.

Rajaraman is a qualified Chartered Accountant, and his extensive background in strategy, finance, and operations positions him to lead the content strategy at Sony Pictures Networks
