Asian Paints, India’s top paint manufacturer, has announced the appointment of Ashish Rae as the new Associate Vice President (AVP) for Retail Sales, Marketing, and Commercial. This strategic appointment is part of the company’s effort to strengthen its leadership team and expand its footprint in the competitive retail sector.
Vishu Goel, the former AVP for Retail Sales, Marketing, and Commercial, stepped down for personal reasons, with his resignation being accepted on December 17, 2024. He will no longer be with the company or part of its senior management from the end of that business day.
Rae brings extensive expertise in sales, marketing, and commercial operations from his experience across various industries. Prior to joining Asian Paints, he held key leadership roles where he concentrated on driving growth and developing customer-centric strategies. His track record of successfully scaling operations will play a critical role in helping the company expand its reach in both urban and rural markets.
In his new position, Rae will oversee retail sales strategies, enhance customer experiences, and lead initiatives in marketing and commercial functions. Additionally, he will collaborate closely with the leadership team to create innovative solutions that cater to the changing needs of consumers, while driving revenue and profitability.
